Lecture by Prof. Daniel Wolpert, Columbia University

Computational principles underlying the learning of sensorimotor repertoires

Hosted by the new Biomed@TAU Research Hub Motor Learning, Director Jason Friedman

Motor learning is an essential part of our day-to-day lives, whether it is a child learning to walk, learning how to play the piano or control our smartphones, or in rehabilitation after injury. This hub will explore different approaches to understanding and enhancing motor learning, by bringing together researchers from a range of backgrounds including experimental, computational and clinical backgrounds, with members from across the University and affiliated hospitals.

Following the lecture, there will be a discussion on the planned activities of the new motor learning hub.
